David Morrish founded Yotlinx in May 2004 with the express purpose of promoting yacht sailing and cruising as an affordable sport or recreation for all.

Yotlinx has experience with family cruising, club cruising and regattas, training and club management and understands what it takes to make sailing happen.

Yotlinx recognises that whether you own your own boat or want to charter, whether you are qualified, experienced, novice or just want to try something new, there are other enthusiasts out there that want to make it happen too.

We have setup www.yotlinx.net to provide the functionality to enable us all to get more from sailing by providing a space on the web to tell others what we want and the means to get together to do it.

David Morrish - Windsurfing was all very well in Borneo and Oman but on my return to Northern European waters I felt being on the water was a better idea than being in it!

An introduction to yacht sailing through my father and a couple of corporate regattas and the conversion was complete. RYA theory and practical courses were followed by more cruising and I was soon drawn in to organizing regattas and other events.

After 30 years in the oil industry, I needed a change and some fresh sea air so decided to look at further promoting yacht sailing.

So Yotlinx was born.
